The difference between Pro Racket Plates and other weighted devices are:
- My plates provide significant wind resistance, especially the red wind resistor plates which enhance the benefits of added weight regardless of how many plates you choose to use.
- The different sizes and weights of the plates grant you versatility as they can attach to all rackets of any racket sport while other weighted devices cannot. This versatility also allows players as young as 5 years of age to use my product.
- The plates are placed exactly where they should be in the center of the sweet spot! If you wish, you can place the plates at the top or bottom of the string bed too!
- The variety of weights can be used for injury rehabilitation.
Note: Shadow-swinging = Grooving, which is a good thing!!
The Pro Racket Plates are an excellent weighted warm-up and daily strengthening tennis aid for players of any age in tennis, squash, badminton and racquetball. Depending on your strength and age, try any combination of the plates that feel comfortable, yet challenging and it will determine if you should initially use some or all of the plates. Shadow swing and "groove" each of your ground-strokes, volleys and serves at least 10-20 times. Then swing with your racket without the power plates and you will notice an immediate increase in racket swing speed and power. Make sure you are shadow swinging with proper technique (check with your racket instructor). Again, for convenience, it is best to keep your Pro Racket Plates secured to your spare (cracked) racket!
